Concussions may occur at any stage of life and may result from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, falls, etc. Neurocognitive deficits may range from minimal to severe, depending on the location and severity of the injury. Such impairments may negatively impact functioning at home, in one’s relationships with others, at school, and/or at work. Evaluations following concussions can help to determine the nature and severity of any deficits and how treatment plans may be adjusted to help best match one’s pattern of strengths and weaknesses.
